It’s already mid-December and festivities for the holiday season have well and truly taken off. We understand if your alcohol stash has already been significantly depleted because of the onslaught of celebrations – it’s been a rough year; everybody deserves more drinks. Thank goodness then for alcohol delivery services that bring the booze straight to your doorstep. Here are three new players on the scene to look to this festive season.

New wine delivery service: Dellarosaa

Dellarosa

Unlike any other wine delivery services, Dellarosa – founded by native Sicilian Quintino Dellarosa—carries a highly curated range of organic, biodynamic, and natural wines. These exclusive offerings are sourced from winemakers across Europe, who are equally dedicated to practicing organic and biodynamic viticulture; in other words, wines that are made from grapes grown without the use of artificial or synthetic chemicals, as well as wines that take into consideration the lunar cycle during grape farming and harvesting, and vinification respectively. Natural wines, in turn, are wines made from grapes farmed either organically or biodynamically, and using minimal intervention during the wine making process. These all translate to more artisanal, healthier and sustainable fine wines. Top picks include the Hérzu 2015 from Ettore Germano, an unconventional Riesling from Italy; and the Paolo Cali’s Violino 2013, a 100% Nero d’Avola organically farmed from the sandy prehistorical dunes of Vittoria in Sicily.

New whisky subscription service: Whisky Master

Whisky Master

Whisky aficionados, this one’s for you. Whisky Master is a subscription service that provides a doorstep delivery of a miniature sample barrel containing four different whiskies in single dram bottles of 20ml, as well as their tasting notes. If one should tickle your fancy, you can order a retail-sized bottle of it from sister site Alcoholdelivery.com.sg at a members-only 15% discount and then have the full sized bottled delivered to you within the hour. Alternatively single dram bottles are also available for purchase—perfect as stocking fillers! Subscription to Whisky Master begins at $82 per month for three months; or at a one-time one-month purchase of $87.

Temple Cellars delivery

Temple Cellars

Having opened just barely four months ago, this indie bottle shop at UE Square has now extended their retailing online, where thirsty folks can order from the same wide range of quality craft beers, ciders, sakes, minimal intervention wines, and artisanal spirits available in store. A veritable one-stop-alcohol-shop, Temple Cellars is the perfect go-to this festive season if you have plenty of booze preferences to cater to. Take your pick of craft beers from across the globe, with bottles by Garage Project from New Zealand, Flying Monkeys Craft Brewery from Canada, Brewdog from the U.K. and more. Supplement that with mead from London, natural wine from Austria, absinthe from France and even mezcal from Mexico. The best part? Bottles are all stored and delivered chilled, so you can pop them open as soon as they arrive. And if you’re running out of ideas on what to get as Christmas presents, the site’s gift cards and festive packs makes it easy to give the gift of booze.

Brought up on a diet of books and family dinner parties, it’s hard to ascertain which came first, Joyce’s love for words or her infatuation with food. A writing career that started at a local food magazine meant she didn’t have to choose between either – because her heart, and nose, became fixed on vino. Ever since the job opened her up to the wonderful world of wine, she’s been #alwaysthirsty.
